How to Reach Eriska
Driving from Glasgow – take the M8 west, cross the Erskine Bridge and turn left onto the A82. At Tarbet turn right (still on the A82) and carry on to Crianlarich. At Crainlarich turn left and continue to Tyndrum where you again turn left onto the A85 to Connel then head north off the A828- signposted Fort William, across Connel Bridge and after 3 miles at the north of Benderloch Village turn left to Eriska which is signposted.
Driving from Edinburgh – take the M9 towards Stirling. Follow the A84 and head towards Crianlarich (A82), and continue to Tyndrum where you again turn left onto the A85 to Connel then head north off the A828- signposted Fort William, across Connel Bridge and after 3 miles at the north of Benderloch Village turn left to Eriska which is signposted.
From the north you should travel to Fort William and then south towards Ballachulish from there you follow the A828 along Loch Linnhe until you pass the town of Barcaldine. Eriska is signposted 3 miles after Barcaldine and you turn to the Right and follow the last 3 miles to the Island.

Connel Ferry Train station is only a 15 minute drive away from the hotel. You can use Scotrail to plan and pay for your journey. From Edinburgh the traveling time is approximately 4 hours with one change in Glasgow. From Glasgow the traveling time is approximately 3 hours.

We can also land helicopters on the island. The co-ordinates required for helicopter landing are:

Sea Planes can also be accommodated, arriving at our pier but landings are dependent on the tides.
For private aircraft, Oban Airport is situated just off the A828 by the village of North Connel 5 Miles from the hotel. Turn left out of the airport along the A828 and after one mile take the left turn at the north of Benderloch.
